Who we are
Putlogic is job management software for UK scaffolding firms. It is a product of RAM Software Studio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17236535. In this notice, "we", "us" and "our" mean RAM Software Studio Ltd.
We are the controller of the personal data described here. If you have any question about it, or want to use any of your rights, email enquiries@putlogic.co.uk.
This notice covers this website and the enquiries made through it. It doesn't cover the information a firm keeps in the Putlogic app about its own jobs, staff and clients. If you'd like to know how that is handled, ask us.
What we collect and why
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the basic technical information any website needs to work.
| When | What we collect | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You book a demo or contact sales | Your name, company, phone number, email, number of crews and anything you write in the message box. We also note which part of the page you came from, your calculator estimate if you used it, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. | To arrange your demo or answer your enquiry, and to understand which parts of the site bring enquiries. |
| You ask us to email your calculator results | Your email address, the figures you entered and the estimate. | To send you your results. |
| You pick a demo time | Calendly collects your name, email, the time you choose and any notes you add. | To book and hold the call, and send you the invitation. |
| You email or ring us | Whatever you send or tell us, and your contact details. | To reply and help you. |
| You visit the site | Technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, handled by our hosting provider. | To deliver the site and keep it secure. |
We won't add you to a marketing list from any of these forms, and we never sell personal data.
Our lawful basis
UK GDPR says we must have a lawful basis for using personal data. Ours are:
- Steps before a contract. When you ask for a demo, prices or a call, we use your details to respond, as you're considering becoming a customer.
- Legitimate interests. To answer business enquiries, send what you've asked for (such as your calculator results), learn which parts of the site are useful, and keep the site secure. We've weighed these against your interests, and we only use the minimum we need.
You can object to our use of your data based on legitimate interests at any time, and we'll stop unless there's a compelling reason not to.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and our email. They act on our instructions as processors and may only use your data to provide their service to us.
- Formspree receives the forms on this page (demo and sales, and calculator results) and passes them to our inbox.
- Calendly runs the booking calendar for demos.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it from attacks.
- Google Workspace provides our email, where enquiries arrive and are answered.
We may also share data if the law requires it, or with professional advisers under a duty of confidence.
Data outside the UK
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States or elsewhere outside the UK. Where personal data leaves the UK, we rely on the safeguards UK law allows, such as UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the Data Privacy Framework) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Demo and sales enquiries, bookings and emails: up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a customer, we keep what we need for as long as you are one.
- Calculator results we email to you: up to 12 months.
- Hosting and security logs: for the short periods our hosting provider sets.
After that we delete the data, or keep it only in a form that no longer identifies you.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- have anything inaccurate corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict how we use it
- object to how we use it
- receive the data you gave us in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw consent, where we rely on it
To use any of these rights, email enquiries@putlogic.co.uk. It's free, and we'll reply within one month. We may need to confirm who you are first. We don't make decisions about you by automated means.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first at enquiries@putlogic.co.uk and we'll do our best to put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator:
- Online at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
- By phone on 0303 123 1113
- By post to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF
Changes to this notice
We'll update this notice if the way we handle personal data changes, and change the date at the top when we do.
